P.E.O. is a women's philanthropic organization that supports young women as
they "reach for the stars" in their educational endeavors. Our chapter earns
money through our fundraising efforts to give scholarships to our local Placer
County students. The number of scholarships that we are able to give each
year depends on our fundraising successes. Young women are encouraged to
apply for our scholarships that support their efforts to attend colleges,
universities, community college and trade schools. Our scholarships are based
on financial need, academic success and community/school involvement.
